Troy Schmitz, OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist. Troy earned is Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota and he joined Essentia Health in 2009. Troy is specialized in hand therapy and upper extremity rehabilitation. He has advanced training in custom splinting of the upper extremity and is certified in ASTYM and dry needling. Troy is also the Rehabilitation Services Manager supporting the Detroit Lakes and Park Rapids outpatient therapy teams.
Troy enjoys spending time with his family, bowhunting, being outdoors, and running.
