Sam Ringger, PA⁠–⁠C

Samuel Ringger, PA-C, is a dedicated provider at Essentia Health in Brainerd, specializing in Internal Medicine. Born and raised in central Minnesota, Samuel has a deep connection to the region and its people. He grew up in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, and spent summers in Brainerd, Minnesota, enjoying the small-town atmosphere and outdoor activities like hiking, trail running, hunting, and fishing. His strong ties to the area and admiration for Essentia Health’s patient care inspired him to join the organization. 

Samuel’s passion for medicine is rooted in his interest in preventing and managing complex illnesses. He has a particular focus on cardiovascular-related conditions, such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and congestive heart failure, as well as infectious diseases. He strives to create treatment plans that align with his patients’ goals and wishes, ensuring personalized and compassionate care. 

Samuel completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and earned his graduate degree from Concordia University Wisconsin. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys running, hiking, skiing, traveling, hunting, and fishing. Samuel is currently engaged and looking forward to marrying his fiancé, who plans to move to the area to work as a teacher.
