Quynh Pham, PA⁠–⁠C

Quynh Pham, PA-C, is a dedicated cardiothoracic surgeon at Essentia Health, where he brings his passion for healing and commitment to patient care to the community he serves. He chose Essentia Health because of its unique approach to treating patients like family, friends, and neighbors. For him, the close connection between the health system and the community sets Essentia apart, making it a place where care feels personal and meaningful. 

Quynh specializes in cardiothoracic surgery, a field he was drawn to because of its ability to provide immediate healing through skilled hands. He finds it deeply rewarding to work with patients who place their trust in him during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. For Quynh, surgery is not just about individual skill but also about teamwork, where the patient is always at the center of care. 

Before transitioning into his current role in 2025, Quynh worked as a surgical technician at Essentia Health’s Detroit Lakes location for three years. His experience there reinforced his belief in the organization’s mission to restore health and bring value to patients’ lives. 

Outside of work, Quynh lives in Lake Park, Minnesota, with his wife and two dogs. He enjoys problem-solving and working with his hands, often taking on creative projects like building a solar-powered, Wi-Fi-controlled doggy door. For him, the joy lies in learning, creating, and improving—values he carries into both his personal and professional life.
