Kelsey Redland-Kladivo, MD

Dr. Kelsey Redland-Kladivo, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician with additional training in high-risk obstetrics and women's health. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology graduating with honors from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and then completed her medical degree at the University of Minnesota Duluth.

During medical school Dr. Redland-Kladivo participated in the RPAP program, with an emphasis on rural medicine. She went on to residency at Duluth Family Medicine Residency with continued training in rural primary care followed by a 1-year rural OB fellowship at Essentia Duluth with emphasis on high-risk obstetrical training.   

Dr. Redland-Kladivo has won awards in resident teaching with over a decade of experience precepting medical students, residents, and OB fellows. She is involved in several Essentia Health Committees dedicated to improving care of women across the region.  

Dr. Redland-Kladivo areas of interest include women's health, prenatal/postpartum care, newborn care, breastfeeding support, and pediatrics. She enjoys being a wife and mother, and spending family weekends at the lake.  

Dr. Redland-Kladivo is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (ACOG) and American Academy of Family Medicine (AAFP). She’s certified in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
