An addiction medicine physician is a medical doctor who is specially trained in the diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorders, withdrawal, and related conditions.
Even if not directly seeing you, an Addiction Medicine Physician can serve as a consultant to any provider at Essentia Health and be involved in your care.
