Class Descriptions
CARDIO MIX - 50 minutes energizing and invigorating workout incorporating functional and fitness-oriented movements that are gentle on the joints. Paced to sweat, have fun and strengthen your flexibility and balance, all while challenging your range of motion and cardio potential. Come join the fantastic party! ALL LEVELS
BARRE BLEND - This class blends elements of Pilates, yoga, ballet, and functional strength into a workout that improves core strength, balance, body awareness, and control as you tone your entire body …. from the inside out! ALL LEVELS
TAI CHI EXERCISE - Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art. Join us in gentle, flowing movements which quiet the mind and relax the body.
LOW IMPACT, SLOW PACE, CALMING
No experience necessary. ALL LEVELS
GROUP STRENGTH - Utilizes free weights and other equipment to improve muscle tone, balance, and functional movement, as well as increase strength and endurance. Accompanied by fun and energizing music! Not a body building class. ALL LEVELS
METABOLIC TRAINING - Maximize calorie burn both during and after your workouts. This class consists of compound strength training movements (using more than one muscle group at a time) for short, intense periods of time. Efficient and effective. ALL LEVELS
FIND YOUR BALANCE - Strength, stability and balance are the 3 most critical and functional components for preventing falls and increasing ability to stay flexible and strong. The 15 best exercises for seniors to improve strength and balance are incorporated into this class. ALL LEVELS
STEP - Burn loads of calories with this high energy workout designed with creative choreography and driving music. Engaging and fun! ALL LEVELS
SUNDAY FUNDAY - Start your week off right! A creative blend of strength and cardio utilizing a wide range of equipment and formats. Every class is different, so you’ll never get bored! ALL LEVELS
SPIN - Cardio cycling workout involving core strengthening. ALL LEVELS
QiQONG - Perform gentle, slow-flowing movements with mindful breathing to increase the flow of qi (energy) in our bodies. This ancient Chinese mind-body class may help reduce stress and ease depression. A mat is not required but may be useful. ALL LEVELS
MORNING STRETCH - Improve your mobility, range of motion, and confidence. Stretching techniques and core strengthening exercises are used to promote flexibility and improve balance. This class puts the FUN in functionality! ALL LEVELS
PILATES PLUS - In addition to Pilates mat exercises, this class utilizes exercises designed to improve balance, strength, and functional fitness. Works deep muscles. ALL LEVELS
SILVER SNEAKERS CARDIO FIT - Combine cardio with equally intense toning movements and you get Cardio Fit for Seniors. Be prepared to sweat! ALL LEVELS
SILVER SNEAKERS MUSCULAR STRENGTH - Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Taught by certified Silver Sneakers instructors. ALL LEVELS
TRX - Total Body Resistance Exercise Develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously by utilizing a suspension trainer to leverage gravity and your body weight. ALL LEVELS
VINYASA FLOW - Increase your strength, endurance, balance, flexibility, and mindfulness in this dynamic yoga class. ALL LEVELS
GENTLE YOGA - For anyone desiring the benefits of deep breathing in combination with yoga poses that are adaptable for any level of fitness. This class is great for beginners and advanced practitioners alike who are looking for deep relaxation. ALL LEVELS
ZUMBA (ZUMBA GOLD - lower impact) - This exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness class utilizes dance and fitness moves providing a cardio workout that tones and sculpts the entire body. Move, sweat, smile and get fit in this fun class. You don’t need to know how to dance! ALL LEVELS
