Elder care practitioner Jade Jasken joins Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Detroit Lakes Clinic

Jade Jasken, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner in elder care, is excited to join the Essentia Health St. Mary's-Detroit Lakes Clinic.

"I chose to continue at Essentia Health because I enjoy the small community and have made many meaningful connections during my five years working as a registered nurse at Oak Crossing," said Jasken, who was born and raised in Detroit Lakes.

Jasken received her education from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

"I chose elder care because you have the opportunity to improve your patients' quality of life during what can be a vulnerable time," said Jasken. "I also have learned a significant amount from this patient population and how your life choices can affect you long-term. I am passionate about caring for others the best that I can both at work and at home."
